Empire the Musical
Empire, the Musical is an off Broadway musical production about the construction of The Empire State Building. Given the large participation of iron workers in the building's history, the musical features, viewpoints and experiences of mohawk ironworks in the 1930's and 1970's. For this project, PlanIt provided insight into Kahnawakes history and culture. Connecting writers with speakers in order to ensure the portrayal was authentic.
